Reimplement chapters functionality from the chapters plugin using clones, hoist, and script buttons:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1461953&forum_id=10226

I implemented some proof of concept code that implements "Hoist Buttons". No persistence yet.
To try it out, download the attached mod_scripting.leo file and hit the "interactive test" button. This leo file contains both the chapter_hoist plugin and a rewritten mod_scripting plugin (see http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=1467975&forum_id=10228). If you like what you see in the interactive test, then you can copy the @file chapter_hoist.py and @file mod_scripting.py files into your plugin area and use them as plugins.

"Hoist Buttons" instructions

- Navigate to node for which to create hoist buttons and hit the "Save Hoist" button
- This will hoist that node and
- Create a hoist button for that node
- Click on the "dehoist" button to return to the full outline view
- Click on the created hoist button to return to the hoisted view of the node
